Apprentice Program
Grow your career at World Wide Technology
The Apprentice Program is designed to provide on-the-job training for students registered in the Cisco Network Academy through the Special School District of St. Louis. Registered through the Department of Labor, the program provides students with the opportunity to put the work they are learning in the classroom into practice as a Configuration Technician I in our North American Integration Center.
At the end of this 10-month program, Apprentices will be able to perform production-level logical configurations and testing responsibilities in support of future opportunities in technology.

Hands-On Work Experience

Participate in events alongside full-time WWT employees including a comprehensive panel discussion and tour of WWT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC), visit our Global Headquarters for a Corporate Update, engage in a capstone project, and more!

- Currently, the WWT Apprentice Program is only open to students enrolled in the Cisco Networking Academy through Special School District of St. Louis.
- Applications will only be open to those who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Candidates must be 16-18 years of age
- Must be in good academic standing
- Enrolled in Junior year of Cisco Networking Academy through Special School District of St. Louis
- Must have formal recommendation from school leadership
- Parent/Guardian approval
- Must be able to pass a drug screening

Nominated Applicants will first be screened by a recruiter in our HR department via telephone interview to see if your qualifications, experience, skills and interests align with the requirements of the Apprentice Program. If a candidate meets the initial requirements, an interview will be scheduled with a hiring manager(s) from our Integration Center.
Yes. Our program acknowledges students are working on real customer projects and pays them accordingly.

Apprentices will be required to work on-site at our North American Integration Center located at
Apprentices who successfully fulfill all requirements of the program will be considered for a full time Production Technician I position upon graduation. WWT does not offer part-time employment for this position.
