Streamlining enterprise AI adoption
The development of AI-powered enterprise applications is an evolving landscape, one that more and more organizations will explore in 2024.
Yet the complexities of modern AI systems are slowing the development and rollout of useful AI solutions across industries and use cases. In fact, enterprises seeking AI transformation are likely facing complexities of an order of magnitude greater than they're used to.
That means enterprises may have to navigate new issues as they shift from a focus on quick AI proofs of concept (POCs) to fully operationalized AI applications. For example, enterprises may have to address questions like:
- How does an IT department manage the security and scalability of an AI system while leveraging the newest models?
- What hardware should an enterprise prepare for in order to deliver a performant system?
- Are we prepared for other AI use cases past the initial scope?
These sorts of questions are difficult to answer and, if left unaddressed, can quickly turn into challenges for enterprises, whether new to or experienced with AI applications.
The good news is that there is help on the way.
NVIDIA NIM microservices package models for enterprise AI
NVIDIA NIM microservices offer a consistent, secure and scalable way to introduce AI models into the enterprise. NVIDIA NIM microservices provide an ecosystem of models that can work together to build sophisticated AI applications.
The microservices are supported in the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, which provides organizations with a unified place to store NIM microservices, review documentation, and view sample patterns for NIM microservice use.
At WWT, we've been collaborating with NVIDIA to develop best practices for leveraging NVIDIA AI Enterprise to deliver services for our clients. Among the powerful components of NVIDIA AI Enterprise are the benchmarks and support documentation for NIM microservices and NVIDIA GPUs.
Armed with this information, WWT can strategically consult with our clients about the best combination of NIM microservices, hardware and related solutions to achieve their business goals. Clients won't only benefit from our decade-plus of experience in applied AI/ML research, development and solution work, but they'll also get hands-on access to the AI Proving Ground (AIPG) — a unique lab where our clients and partners can accelerate, secure and scale their AI journeys across all levels of the AI product stack.
NVIDIA Blueprints help enterprises put AI to work
NVIDIA Blueprints, announced today, is a collection of well-defined software bundles that leverage NIM microservices at their core.
With these blueprints, WWT can innovate with our clients using a proven and customizable architecture.
Blueprints are consistent across NVIDIA's AI infrastructure. Having access to validated configurations and documentation for novel use cases allows us to push the envelope on rapidly deploying AI applications for our clients.
Using these Blueprints, WWT will continue advancing our work with NVIDIA to speed enterprise AI adoption.
Blueprints in the AI Proving Ground
WWT is equipped to quickly operationalize Blueprints in our AI Proving Ground. Through our experience and collaboration with NVIDIA on deploying NIM microservices in the AIPG, we are familiar with demonstrating, deploying and integrating the latest NVIDIA solutions for ourselves and our clients.
Our AIPG experts can help organizations set up solutions that merge our lab environment and AI application services to build, debug and quickly deploy AI applications based on Blueprints.
The AIPG's on-demand labs also give WWT and our partners a unique capability to show clients how Blueprints work and explore specific use cases for different enterprises, as well as experience the consistency of Blueprints.
What's next?
WWT is thrilled to continue collaborating with NVIDIA by bringing Blueprints to the AI Proving Ground. The opportunity to help guide enterprises through these key stages of AI adoption is exciting, to say the least.
Having NVIDIA Blueprints as a consistent foundation for that adoption work gives WWT's AI experts the freedom to focus on other important areas of enterprise AI adoption while knowing that the application layer can scale securely.
