Event Overview
The Navy Global Enterprise Modernization Software and Services (GEMSS) contract provides the Navy a one-stop acquisition and support solution for Navy IT network modernization. Learn how to maximize the use of the GEMSS contract to purchase, support and track all Cisco Hardware, Software and Licensees.
What to expect
Join us to:
- Understand the differences between and transition from the previous JELA contract to the new GEMSS contract.
- Ensure your organization takes advantage of GEMSS coverage to apply zero additional cost licenses for Cisco DNA routing, switching and wireless purchases.
- Learn about and create Smart Accounts and Virtual Accounts, and access Licenses for your organization and its Cisco products.
- Conduct hands-on, real-time review of the Navy's new Asset Management tool hosted in My Cisco Entitlements (MCE).
Goals and Objectives
Obtain and map your Cisco ID to the Navy Smart Account and associated Virtual Accounts. Understand the Asset Management transition from ICRS to MCE, and familiarize yourself with the MCE portal.
Who should attend?
Intended for anyone who currently uses GEMSS, or previously used JELA II, to manage Navy owned Cisco Hardware, Software and Licenses.
