Azure Fundamentals: Networking Lab

This lab will allow users to walk through a basic understanding of Azure Networking services.

Users will walk through the following tasks in both the Azure Portal and Azure CLI: 

• NAT Gateway creation
• Azure Bastion creation
• Virtual machine creation and connection
• Peering creation and connection

Users will accomplish the following upon successfully completing the lab: 

• Understanding the Microsoft Global Network: Ensure participants have a comprehensive understanding of the architecture, scale, and importance of the Microsoft Global Network in delivering cloud services. Understanding Azure Virtual Network: Ensure participants understand the significance of Azure Virtual Network as a fundamental building block for private networks in Azure, enabling secure communication between resources. 
• Implementing Secure Connectivity: Enable participants to securely connect to virtual machines (VMs) in Azure Virtual Network from the internet and establish private communication between VMs.
• Leveraging Network Services: Educate participants on utilizing Azure NAT Gateway and Azure Bastion to enhance network security and provide outbound internet connectivity for resources within the virtual network.
• Managing Network Infrastructure: Equip participants with the knowledge and skills to create and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network services in Azure.
• Implementing Peering Connections: Enable participants to create and configure peering connections between virtual networks, both within the same region and across different regions
