Although there are thousands of Google Cloud channel partners in North America, only a select few won the cloud company's prestigious Partner of the Year Award in categories such as sales, services and expansion in 2024.

"Google Cloud's Partner Awards celebrate the transformative impact and value that partners have delivered for customers," said Kevin Ichhpurani, corporate vice president, Global Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud, this week at Google Cloud Next 2024 in Las Vegas.

Each year, the Mountain View, Calif.-based AI and cloud computing giant hands out a few dozen awards for their top partners on a regional and global basis.

One of these award-winning companies was Los Angeles, Calif.-based SADA, an Insight company, which won Google Cloud's Global Sales Partner of the Year Award.

"We grew up in the evolution of the Google Cloud itself," Tony Safoian, CEO of the Google Cloud Premier Partner told CRN. "We're very holistic from Workspace to Apigee, to Chronicle to Maps to GCP to infrastructure part of the data stack. We are doing exceptionally well in new gen AI opportunities with Google. Being holistic helps us stand out relative to other partners in the ecosystem."

Another Google Cloud partner award winner was CloudWerx, which won Google's North America Breakthrough Partner of The Year award.

"Google's been incredible. So I've been doing this for over 20 years, and Google's been the best partner that I've worked with," Jason Geis, CEO and co-founder of Google partner CloudWerx, told CRN. "A lot of that comes from the foundation of the relationship where we went all-in on Google. We live and die with Google."

Google Cloud's Ichhpurani said his company is committed to supporting partners at every level of our technology stack, with a partner-led approach to services and delivery, new opportunities for training and differentiation, and optimized routes-to-market to help partners close larger deals faster, and more often.
