Mike McGlynn is World Wide Technology’s Global Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, he leads a team of information security experts to protect WWT's global business. He has over 35 years in information security experience spanning operations, advisory, and executive roles. During his 14-year tenure at WWT, he formalized and established our Security business in both the Sales (2014) and Services (2020) organizations. He is also active in the security VC community as both an advisor and board director. Prior to WWT, McGlynn spent over 25 years at the National Security Agency as a technical director and leader in the areas of software development, systems design and development, and crypto mathematics. He was a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) and has won numerous honorary awards including the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Executive Service, two Meritorious Civilian Service Awards, and the Deckert-Foster Excellence in SIGINT Engineering Award.
