27 June 2024 – The 2024 UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ was launched this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising World Wide Technology (WWT) within the top 10 among the large company category, ranking fourth. This recognition comes just one month after Great Place To Work® ranked WWT seventh on the UK's Best Workplaces for Development™ inaugural list.

Each year, GPTW recognises organisations whose thriving workplace cultures are enabling both their people and their business to flourish. Opportunities for learning and development are a crucial element of this success, which is why we're so thrilled to be recognising this year, for the very first time, the UK's Best Workplaces for Development. These workplaces offer employees the chance to better themselves, to learn new skills and to progress within the organisation.

In addition, the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ rankings include organisations, like WWT, who have succeeded in making their employees experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace. To compile the prestigious list, Great Place To Work culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through fundamental facets of employee wellbeing, including: work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction and financial security.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK says: "Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. Now in our third year of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we're able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial and social wellbeing. It's no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation. Congratulations to WWT for making this prestigious list!"

"We are deeply honoured by the recognition of our workplace culture, having received two recent distinct accolades from UK's Best Workplaces," says Stacey Kingshott, Senior Director, Global Human Resources, WWT. "The empowerment of our employees is fundamental to shaping WWT into the organisation it is today."
