October 11, 2024 The 2024 UK's Best Workplaces in Tech™ list was launched this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising World Wide Technology (WWT) among the list of organisations in the large category.

Per anonymous survey results, 94 percent of employees at World Wide Technology say it is a great place to work*, compared to 54 percent of employees at a typical UK based company.

Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based tech employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.  The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Analysis of the survey responses found:

  • 93% of employees at the UK's Best Workplaces for Tech say "I'm proud to tell others I work here" compared to a UK average for sector of 69%
  • 87% of employees at the UK's Best Workplaces for Tech say "I want to work here for a long time" compared to a UK average for sector of 67%

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK said: "Now in its seventh year, the Best Workplaces in Tech list celebrates companies adept at developing dynamic, collaborative cultures that serve as a catalyst for innovation and personal growth for all. In one of the country's fastest-growing industries, it's fantastic to see these Tech organisations placing their people strategy at the top of the agenda and implementing employee experience programmes that create a positive culture for all.  A huge congratulations to WWT."

This latest recognition adds to WWT's previous 2024 honours from Great Place To Work® UK:
