About Brent
As Senior Vice President of Global Service Provider (GSP) Sales, Brent Massey leads a team of more than 65 professionals focused on driving innovation and accelerating time-to-market for our service provider customers in the cable, media, entertainment, gaming and telecommunications industries.
Brent brings nearly three decades of industry experience to his position, having spent 17 years at Cisco in various sales, business development and leadership roles. During his time at Cisco, he primarily focused on serving global service providers, developing deep expertise in the cable, media and telecommunications sectors.
In 2018, Brent joined WWT as the Client Vice President for Charter Communications, before transitioning to his current role as the SVP of GSP Sales. Brent's extensive industry knowledge, strong relationships with key OEM partners and passion for driving technological innovation have been instrumental in helping WWT become a trusted advisor to its service provider customers.
As a leader, Brent takes a collaborative, "player-coach" approach, working closely with his team to clear obstacles and provide strategic guidance. He places a high value on trust, both in terms of business acumen and behavioral traits, believing that a foundation of trust is essential for high-performing teams. Brent is also deeply committed to WWT's unique culture, which he describes as "fiercely protecting" the company's focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
Outside of work, Brent is actively involved in his community. He previously served on the board of the National Children's Alliance, an organization dedicated to supporting victims of child abuse. Brent is passionate about mentoring early-career professionals and sharing his industry expertise to help develop the next generation of leaders.
Brent and his wife live in Denver and have two daughters. He is an avid golfer and enjoys water sports and being outdoors.
