As Senior Vice President of Global Solutions and Architecture (GS&A) at WWT, Brian Ortbals leads a team of leaders and visionaries who help our customers solve their most complex business and technology challenges.

Brian's team spans critical areas such as digital, cloud, infrastructure, AI and cybersecurity. This breadth of expertise allows WWT to deliver comprehensive value and outcomes for customers by leveraging our vast partner ecosystem and unique services capabilities.

Since joining WWT in 1999, Brian has held several leadership roles, supporting many of the company's new ventures. After spending several years as a network engineer and sales engineer, Brian transitioned into more senior roles, including Technology Solutions Manager, Practice Manager, Area Director, Cisco Alliance Director, Director of Advanced Technologies and Vice President of the Global Engineering Team before being promoted to his current position as SVP of GS&A. These roles have included vast experience in our rapidly growing professional services business, incubating integration and staging labs, and supporting the development of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC).

Brian's leadership style is centered on trust, empowerment and transparency. His tight-knit leadership team values open communication, vulnerability and the ability to operate autonomously. This approach has enabled Brian's team to grow significantly in size and scope as the GS&A portfolio has expanded.

Brian and his wife, who retired from WWT after 23 years, live in the St. Louis area with their two children. Outside of work, Brian coaches his daughter's club soccer team and serves on the Board of Trustees at DeSmet High School, where he chairs the technology committee. Brian is also an avid golfer and enjoys spending time barbecuing with his family.
