As Executive Vice President of Global Service Provider Sales, Kraig Ecker leads a global team of sales and engineering experts who help many of the world's largest and most innovative companies transform their business in the digital age.  

With deep relationships across the hyperscaler and telecommunications industry, Kraig uniquely understands the technology landscape. He and his team have been instrumental in pioneering the adoption of next-generation technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, cloud computing, edge computing, network virtualization and other emerging solutions shaping the future of service providers and their customers.  

Under his stewardship, WWT's GSP teams have earned accolades as an industry-leading partner, receiving numerous 'Partner of the Year' awards from esteemed organizations such as AT&T, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Verizon and Vodafone Group, among others. 

Kraig has spearheaded WWT's strategic growth into new geographies such as EMEA and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and industries including media and gaming. As a key contributor on WWT's Executive Advisory Board, he collaborates on shaping the company's overarching vision and corporate strategy. 

A people-first leader committed to forging relationships at all levels of the company, Kraig joined WWT in 2012 after previous leadership roles at Cisco, where he managed strategic accounts and partnerships across the Americas, Europe and Asia. He was among a select group responsible for the launch of VCE, a collaborative venture between Cisco, EMC and VMW focused on converged infrastructure solutions. 

He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served for four years as a data technician.  

Kraig is an investor in several technology startup companies and enjoys mentoring early-stage ventures and entrepreneurs to help scale their businesses. 

Kraig holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in St. Louis with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family.
