About Matt
As Executive Vice President of WWT's Global Enterprise sales organization, Matt Horner leverages his extensive industry relationships and deep business expertise to spur transformational growth on behalf of WWT and many of its strategic clients and partners globally.
A galvanizing leader with a willingness to do whatever it takes, Matt's vision and leadership has played a defining role in WWT's success to date — from global expansion and community involvement to client enablement and revenue acceleration.
In his current role, he leads a sales, engineering and consulting team of over 5,000 employees focused on the development and growth of new business within large enterprise customers throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. He also oversees strategic planning, P&L responsibilities, personnel leadership, operations, customer and partner relationship development for an enterprise sales team with over $14 billion in annual revenue.
Since joining WWT in 1999, Matt has been instrumental in establishing the company's professional services organization, bolstering its industry-leading partnership with Cisco Systems, and performing due diligence and integration of multiple acquisitions. His emphasis on work ethic and trust is integral to WWT's ability to sustain its inclusive and award-winning culture.
An avid golfer himself, Matt initiated and leads WWT's branding and executive engagement with the PGA TOUR, highlighted by the WWT Championship that is hosted annually in Mexico. As Chair of the event, he leads all aspects of the tournament, including business sessions and keynotes, branding, charitable support, technology partner sponsorships, PGA TOUR executive collaboration and player relations. Additional WWT branding and engagement includes sponsorships at the WM Phoenix Open, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, The Players Championship, The Masters, The Memorial, and the Ascension Classic on the Champions Tour.
Matt is actively involved in a number of charitable organizations throughout St. Louis and New York City. He is Chairman of the Board for NPower, which seeks to advance economic opportunity and mobility for underserved communities through digital training and education. With Matt's help, NPower has grown domestically with locations across the U.S.
He is also passionate about and contributes to World Pediatric Project, an international non-profit bridging the gap in lack of access to advanced pediatric healthcare in the world.
Matt also serves on the board of SixThirty, a global fintech venture capital firm based out of St. Louis.
He graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans with a degree in International Business Management. Horner is married to wife Deana, with whom he has four children.
