About Robert
Rob Floodeen leads the delivery of Cyber Resilience at WWT, where he is responsible for supporting his teams in the implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies that enhance organizational resilience against cyber threats. With a rich history in cybersecurity, Rob has worked across federal, defense, and global commercial sectors. His career highlights include serving as the Pentagon IR team lead, a member of CERT/CC, managing a DoD agency CERT, and acting as Technical Advisor and Executive Program Manager to the Director of the SEI for the $2.2 billion FFRDC contract. He has also led proactive services at PwC and served as the Director, head of incident response services, EMEA, at Dell Secureworks.
Rob actively contributes to the security community. Prior activities include roles such as Program Chair, Membership Chair, and Education & Training Chair at FIRST. He was the editor for ISO 27035:2016 Incident Management and has taught numerous DFIR technical and academic courses as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and a Visiting Scientist at the Software Engineering Institute, CMU. Rob holds a BS and MS in computer science and an MBA.
He has volunteered as an assistant scout master, both in the US and UK, and as a School Govenor for The Reach Free School, in Rickmansworth.
