About Scot
As Vice President of Federal, Scot Gagnon leads WWT's Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence and Federal Civilian agencies teams. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he is a recognized expert in DoD digital modernization and federal sales operations.
Scot's mission at WWT is to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance the capabilities of federal agencies. He is responsible for business development, account management and presales engineering, ensuring seamless implementation and management of technology solutions across federal agencies. Scot is known for his ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, key vendors, prime integrators and vertical partners.
Scot takes a hands-on, collaborative approach to leadership, actively engaging with his teams to ensure everyone's contributions are valued. His player-coach leadership style and emphasis on employee empowerment earned him a spot on FedScoop's "Best Bosses in Federal IT in 2022" list. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing WWT's federal sales operations and expanding its footprint in the public sector.
Since joining WWT in 2002, Scot has been a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales for the southeast region, Area Vice President for DOD and IC, and now Vice President of Federal. Scot has supported customers and partners from Tampa to Europe and throughout the SWA theatre.
Before joining WWT, Scot served 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force with half of that time spent deployed, working in acquisition roles and supporting various military operations around the world. Scot attended IUNW.
Scot and his wife live in Clearwater Beach, FL. He has four children and spends his time outside of work traveling for his youngest children's sports teams, boating, offshore fishing and supporting charity projects through his church.
