Over 25 years in technology with a foundation in End User Computing. I currently am focused on using VMware Horizon and VMware Workspace ONE to optimize, secure, and ensure modern access to the applications and environments that end-users need. I also leverage automation tools to increase the consistency, quality, and efficiency of the product that is being delivered to our customers. I have lead teams that build successful outcomes with that exact strategy in mind and I have strong expertise in the Automation of EUC tasks due to being a part of these projects. The primary tool used for automation is currently PowerShell, but I have used many different tools including batch files, VBScript, application packaging tools, MDT, and Configuration Manager. I have worked with and supported teams around the globe with many technologies including VMware Horizon, Workspace ONE, Active Directory, Citrix, all Windows versions of Windows clients from Windows 3.1 to present, and Windows server from NT 4.0 to present. Another passion is sharing knowledge with people at all levels in an organization. I have trained many people on a wide variety of topics in semi-formal training, short snippets of training, on-the-job training, and mentoring. This includes building and maintaining documentation for current and new service offerings. I have also recently assisted in the stand-up of new technology-based business practices and establishing the knowledge base for the new service offering for both sales and engineers alike. Other expertise in Enterprise optimization includes application rationalization after a customer has mergers and or acquisitions. Also assisting in the cleanup of the sprawl of applications a company may have after being in business for decades. Creating and enforcing these standards can dramatically reduce complexity and optimize the management of an enterprise.
