Multi-Layer, Multi-Vendor (MLMV) Core Networking Lab Overview
In collaboration with Cisco, WWT's Core Networking Team created a lab environment focused on consolidating optical networking and core routing into one unified architecture. This lab environment is known as the Multi-Layer, Multi-Vendor (MLMV) Lab. This video is a recording of WWT Technical Solutions Architect John Chiarini's presentation at Cisco Live 2024 of the lab environment.
The MLMV lab lives within WWT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC). It is based on a typical core routing transport network interconnected with optical networking and managed by multi-layer, multi-vendor network management systems. What is unique about this environment is that we can easily switch between different devices, vendors, configurations, and management systems. It is a dynamic environment where we can create customized POCs, test environments, and demonstrations based on your customer's requirements and needs.
I had the opportunity to present on the Multi-Layer, Multi-Vendor concept and WWT's capabilities in this space at Cisco Live! Las Vegas 2024. Please check out the recording of the session to learn more.
