CICD for Automation Engineers

This lab introduces the implementation of a CICD workflow in Gitea SCM. Participants will learn the necessary building blocks and configurations to assemble and execute a workflow in their repository. The lab also covers repository level configurations to protect production code from untested changes. Key areas covered include reviewing Gitea Actions configurations, creating workflows with required components, setting repository branch protection rules, and creating pull requests with required pipeline workflows.

This lab will provide a hands-on introduction to implementing a CICD workflow in the Gitea Source Code Manger (SCM). Through hands-on exercises you will learn each building block required to assemble and execute a workflow in your repository.  This lab will also guide you through the repository level configurations to ensure your 'production' code is protected from integrating untested changes.
