Overview & Demo: MSFT Teams Meetings With Cisco CVI & Webrtc
When it comes to conferencing endpoints, in today's cluttered market, you have to have flexibility. Interoperability has never been more important than it is right now. In this video, we show two different ways to join Microsoft Teams meetings with a Cisco endpoint. We also discuss the pros and cons of both.
Microsoft Teams is one of the leading conferencing providers today. Cisco video endpoints have long been the market leader in conferencing devices. What ways are there to bring these two platforms together? With native features like Cisco Cloud Video Interop and embedded webrtc, Cisco endpoints can easily join Microsoft Teams meetings.
Cloud video interop is a SIP gateway enabling traditional video endpoints the ability to join Teams meetings just like they can from a traditional laptop. Modern Cisco endpoints have a web browser built into their systems. This allows administrators to do a variety of different things with the endpoint. One of the most useful is joining Teams meeting via webrtc directly from the endpoint. Both these methods have pros and cons, but overall provide a great solution to solve your interop issues.
